Mules take 3rd at Forest Hills Eastern Duels Invite

Bedford traveled to the West side of the state once again to take on some of the top teams in the state. Out of the 9 teams, 5 of them were ranked in their respective divisions. In the preliminary pool duels, Bedford opened with a 60-19 win over Otsego and a 39-32 win over Allendale. This put them in the gold pool with #5 D2 Dewitt and #2 D3 Richmond. The Mules took on Dewitt first and dropped a hard fought battle that came down to the last match. Down 31-36, Colin Jagielski needed a pin to secure the victory for the Mules. Unfortunately, he was not able to pull it off and his 17-10 victory made the final score 34-36. The Mules closed out the tournament with D3 perennial powerhouse Richmond and suffered a 19-35 loss.
