    Dennis Brighton Invitational

    Denny and Jeanette Brighton

Coach Vogel won his first tournament as head coach on Saturday night. But he gave the spotlight to predecessor Dennis Brighton, who retired last year.  To honor the accomplishments of Coach Brighton, Coach Vogel re-named the 43 year old Bedford Invitational, the Dennis Brighton Invitational. In addition a new trophy was created, The Brighton Trophy, which will travel with the winners each year.

Coach Brighton wasn’t the only state champ in the spotlight Saturday. 1984 State Champion, Rick Deeb presented the team with a BIG CHECK to sponsor the Dennis Brighton Invitational. Rick’s company, Midwest Mortgage, stepped up to help fund team needs this  year.
