 In the first round our Brian Gibbs won 7 to 4 against Saldona from Davison. Way to go Gibbs!!

Nate Stevens got teched by Adam Fahs from Portage Central. Way to fight Nate!

And in what some were calling the match of the day our Mitch Rogaliner beat Pillars from Holt 6 to 2. WOW!

Brian Gibbs, Mitch Rogaliner, and Nate Stevens will head to the Palace of Auburn Hills to represent Bedford High School at the Individual State Tournament. Wrestling begins on Thursday and runs through Saturday. Please consider making the trip to see these three incredible wrestlers face Michigan’s wrestling elite. If you have a wrestler in the family it is a terrific opportunity to wach the best in the state.

Support our seven wrestlers competing at Individual Regionals at Saline High School. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. They need you in the stands when they step out on the mat to face the best-of-the-best in the Region.

Bedford Wrestling Spirit Club needs you! Currently we are without a Treasurer and we need a volunteer willing to take on the job. The organization is small and the job takes less than an hour a week. Please consider pitching in and becoming a Spirit Club Officer. If you are interested and have questions Spirit Club President Marie Romijn is happy to fill you in on the duties. Bedford will be wrestling in the Holland Invitational on Saturday. Wrestling begins at 9:00 a.m. The teams in our pool are scheduled as follows:

It’s a busy week for the Bedford Mules! The team has two events on the road during the week.

Wednesday:Bedford travels to Whitmer to face Whitmer and Waite. The bus leaves at 3:00 p.m. Weigh-ins are at 4:00 p.m. and wrestling starts at 5:00 p.m. Bedford is set to face Waite first and then Whitmer at approximately 7:00 p.m. Wednesday’s weigh-in will count for Thursday’s Adrian Quad.

Directions to Whitmer: Come on man - you know how to get there right? Follow the Panther paws. (5601 Clegg Road, Toledo, Ohio.)

Thursday: The team travels to Adrian for the Adrian Quad. The bus leaves at 3:00 p.m.and the weigh-in from Wednesday will be used for the Adrian Quad. Wrestling begins at 5:30 p.m. Bedford takes on Monroe first and Dexter at approximately 7:15 p.m.
