Bedford’s Ortman Helps EMU to a Victory Against Seton Hill
Two time state champion Bedford Wrestler Alex Ortman pinned his opponent Logan Downs in the Eastern Michigan versus Seton Hill dual meet. The Eagles won 30 to 9. Way to Go Alex! Follow Ortman’s college career here.

Bedford’s Ortman and Whitenburg Place at Cleveland Open
Bedford’s two time state champion Alex Ortman placed third this weekend at the Cleveland Open. Ortman lost in the first round and battled back to win SIX in a row to take third at the event at Cleveland State.
Freshman Nick Whitenburg took an impressive sixth at the event.
Both Ortman and Whitenburg wrestle for Eastern Michigan University.

Three Former Bedford Wrestlers at EMU Open
It was a Mule Invasion at The 18th Annual Eastern Michigan University Open this Saturday. Three Bedford standouts wrestled at the open. Take a moment to watch two time Bedford state champion Alex Ortman wrestle at this link against an opponent from MSU.

Bill Regnier Tapped for Wrestling Hall of Fame
Athletic Director Bill Regnier has been selected to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. The induction will take place during ceremonies on May 17 at Michigan State University’s Kellogg Center in East Lansing. The National Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Stillwater, Okla.
