Two Mules Sign to Wrestle in College This Week

Congratulations to Senior captains Brad Stewart and Blake Montrie who both signed this week to continue their wrestling careers in college!

 Brad will be joining BHS alumni, Mitch Pawlak, as a Warrior on the Indiana Tech squad. Brad plans on majoring in criminal justice.
Blake will be attending Coach Kevin Vogel’s alma mater as he becomes a Chippewa at Central Michigan University. Blake will be pursuing a degree in business.
Good luck to both of these standout Mule wrestlers as they are sure to become assets to their new teams as well!




Gandees Making 3rd and Final Walk

The Gandee family is on day 4 of their third and final planned walk to raise awareness of cerebral palsy. Hunter Gandee will travel 111 mile from the Bedford community stadium all the way to Lansing, Michigan carrying brother Braden on his back. The Gandee’s mission is to “challenge the world at all levels to take the necessary steps towadrs inclusion”. Bedford wrestling is so proud of the Gandee family and the positive light they shine on this community!


2015-2016 Captains Named

Bedford wrestling is excited to announce that captains have been selected for the 2015-2016 season. Leading the mules will be seniors Brad Cook, Brad Stewart, Tim Stevens, Gabe Elarton and Blake Montrie.

The Mules open their season next week on Wednesday, December 9th as varsity travels to Novi to face long-time rival, Detroit Catholic Central. JV will travel to Ann Arbor Huron to compete.




Bedford Wrestling in the News

Four of our mule wrestlers were featured in the “Bedford Now” for participating in the Monroe Bed Race to Aid Children. Nice work Kurtis Ortman, Brad Stewart, Brad Cook and Blake Montrie! Thanks also to friend of Bedford wrestling, Westin Antoszewski, for riding along as Maximus. We’re proud of these boys for representing our organization while serving our community!



Ortman Signs With Davenport University

Congratulations to Bedford’s very own Adam Ortman who just committed to wrestle at Davenport University next year! Your Mule family is so proud of our “big boy”! Tear em up in the NAIA, Adam!



Rogaliner Hits 100th Win at SEC’s

Congratulations are in order for Tyler Rogaliner who hit a career milestone this past weekend.

Tyler hit his 100th career win!  Congratulations on such a big feat Tyler!!




Congratulations to the Wrestlers of the Week

These three wrestlers have been named “Wrestlers of the Week” for going undefeated at the Dick Hoover Duals at Springfield High School’s varsity tournament this past weekend.  Way to go guys!!

Bettencourt Signs with Olivet College

He will continue his wrestling career into college and he will be doing it with Olivet College!

Mitchell Pawlak Signs with Indiana Tech


It’s official!  Mitch Pawlak has signed on with Indiana Tech!  He will be joining fellow teammates Logan Rimmer and Brandon Sunday–giving us Mule wrestling fanatics even more reason to tune into Warrior wrestling!  We are certain Mitch will be making a very big statement in college wrestling.  Congrats and way to go Mitchbob!




Sunday Commits to Indiana Tech

Way to go Sunday! Brandon signed his letter of intent to wrestle at Indiana Tech next year. He’ll join Logan Rimmer (Bedford,’12) on the team.
