Ten Bedford Wrestlers placed in the season opener at Lansing Eastern. Bedford's Seniors Mason Cole (heavyweight) and T.J. Romijn (171) lead the way as champions. Junior Brian Gibbs (140) also clinched a first place spot. Senior Eric Draper (215) took third place as did Junior Mason Allison (112) and Freshman Mitch Rogaliner (103). Sophomores Bryan Smith (215) and Tanner Duvall (160) both took fifth place. Sophomore Al Regnier (130) brought home a 6th place finish and Ethan Davis (125) notched an 8th place spot. The team came in fourth in the tournament.The Junior Varsity also had a great day at the Lakewood Tournament. Mitch Pawlak (103) and John Prajzner (171) won the day with first place! Jason Phillips (215) and Austin Lake (112) took second. Daniel Peterson took 3rd place at 160, as did Ethan Crawford (152). Dakota Hudson at 125 came in 4th.Congratulations to the Mules on the 2009/2010 Season Opener!
